As some know, Cardi B has been in discussion about being in next year’s Super Bowl half-time show in Atlanta.
According to TMZ, the rapper is planning to perform her hit song, “Girls Like You” with Maroon 5. She is also in the process of negotiating a solo set and is planning to make the best deal possible.
Because Atlanta is hosting Super Bowl LII, many fans believed the NFL would give credit to Atlanta’s hip hop scene.
Waka Flocka Flame seems to agree. The rapper told TMZ Sports he was very disappointed in the choices for the upcoming Super Bowl and hopes they look into more of a mainstream performer.
American singer and songwriter, Miguel has even co-signed Cardi B’s statement. According to TMZ, Miguel stated, “If Cardi B wants her own set for the Super Bowl half time show…GIVE CARDI B HER OWN SET.”
Cardi B is hoping to receive better offers in the time being. Stay tuned.
