This being one of her first big gigs post-ESPN, the former ESPN anchor Jemele Hill will be narrating Lebron James’ basketball documentary Shut Up and Dribble.
James’ documentary is said to release this upcoming November on Showtime. According to the Hollywood Reporter, James originally wanted Hill as an interviewee.
Hill is well-known for famously expressing her dislike for President Trump. After becoming a target for threats and remarks, James supported her.
The two are both openly passionate about social justice. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hill stated, “Lately Lebron has talked about gender and wanting to uplift and position black women in particular.”
James has several other projects in the works. He is now the executive producer, along with actress Elizabeth Banks, for NBC’s Basketball Drama, Hoops.
