From Jonesboro Rd. to Worldwide
Hailing from Zone 3 , Lakewood community of Metro Atlanta, the now 26 year old TripleUp KO jumped in the rap game in February of 2018, but that doesn’t mean he’s taking baby steps. Two projects in, and he’s only getting started after dropping “The 6 Tape” and “The 6 Tape Reloaded”.
his decision to jump into music came from his peers, who motivated him and urged him on the basis of having the look and the talent to make the transition. He felt that if he took rapping seriously, he would be able to change lives of those who were touched by his music.
His upbringing was similar to most underprivileged youth in Atlanta, he unfortunately lost his mother at the young age of 6, and lost his father to two consecutive life sentences at 7. His mothers untimely passing forced KO to grow up quick, becoming the man of the house and taking care of what needed to be done to ensure that they had the basic necessities required to live. In addition to taking care of his family, he also attended Clark Atlanta University. The loss of his mother is one of the major motivations behind his will to make a name for himself in the industry.
KO is now working his moves, and using all outlets to do so. His single “Bet It” is available on streaming platforms now, and the viral #BetItChallenge hosted by The Baddie Manager @Nikkijzo , has strippers going CRAZY! Whichever dancer has the most likes on their twerk video wins $1000!
