One Music Fest 2018 was the perfect way to end the summer in Atlanta

One Music Fest is one of Atlanta’s biggest urban summer music festivals! Thousands of people from all over the nation travel to Atlanta to watch their favorite artists and djs perform at this two-day event. This year, One Music Fest was held on September 8 and September 9 at Central Park.

The Saturday line up was: Aina Brei’Yon, Teedra Moses, Felixx, DVSN, Big K.R.I.T., Big Sean, Nas, Tobe Nwigwe, Jessie Reyez, Davido, Afro Soca Love, GoldLink, H.E.R., and Miguel.

The Sunday line up was: Angelina Sherie, Rapsody, ATL Crunk Set, Monica, T.I., 2 Chainz, The Band of Brother, Kelis, St. Beauty, George Clinton + Parliament, August Greene, and Big Boi.

Each artist gave a performance like it was their last! Each performer had flashing lights, eccentric dancers, and amazing props. It was obvious the crowd loved every second of it by the endless cheering and the synchronized lip-singing.

Not only was One Music Fest a celebration of music, it was also a celebration of art. Many vendors got the opportunity to showcase and sell their clothing, jewelry, handbags, and accessories. So fans got a great variety of music and were exposed to art that can’t be found anywhere else.

One Music Fest is more than just an ordinary concert; it is a celebration! The festival not only commemorates urban music and art, but also the uniqueness and individuality of all who ascend on the city of Atlanta.

One Music Fest was the only way to end the summer!

  1. Thanks for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more clear from this post. I’m very glad to see such wonderful information being shared freely out there.
